Active Excursions, LLC Information

Active Excursions promotes active and engaged outdoor lifestyles. Our mission is to create, organize, and deliver events and trips that enable our participants to connect with nature, see places they have always wanted to see, socialize with like-minded enthusiasts, and learn new ways to promote a healthy lifestyle, protect the environment, and make a difference in their communities. We organize trips to some of the most scenic, historic, and fun locations in the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area—Active Excursions participants have hiked the Appalachian Trail, seen the Chesapeake Bay up close, explored Shenandoah National Park, and experienced local organic local wineries, to name a few examples. Following each activity, participants dine at some of the best restaurants in the area that promote healthy eating, showcase local produce, and operate according to environmentally responsible principles. Our meals also feature speakers that share their expertise with the group in areas such as health and wellness, green living,and environmental initiatives.
