ACT 4 AFRICA Information

Act4Africa is a registered charity delivering youth focused gender equality training, health education and HIV services in Uganda, Tanzania and Malawi. We work with women and girls, equipping them with the life skills to be free from poverty and to combat HIV. Our goal is to change attitudes, transform communities and save lives. In the last 15 years our work has meant that: 43,000 people have been tested for HIV; HIV/AIDS education has been delivered to more than 1.24 million people; we've trained over 300 community mentors and 200 peer educators and gender equality education has been delivered to more than 240,000 people.
