VOA is more than a nonprofit. We are a ministry of service committed to helping build brighter, more resilient futures. Since 1896, we have served communities across the country through hundreds of human service programs, including housing, health care and support for veterans, people experiencing homelessness, people with disabilities, individuals returning from incarceration and those in recovery. Today, more than 15,000 professionals and thousands of volunteers help VOA serve people in communities across the country. PATH's mission is to end homelessness for individuals, families, and communities. We do this by building affordable housing and providing supportive services throughout California. Since founded in 1984, PATH has pioneered bold and effective approaches to assist people experiencing homelessness. PATH operates services throughout California, connecting clients to a comprehensive continuum of homelessness prevention, street outreach, employment preparation and placement assistance, individualized case management, supportive services, interim housing, and permanent supportive housing.
