WMSA has been a full service station since october 12, 1945, when we first went on the air! Full service means we get involved in the community with live broadcasts from a variety of locations to raise money for charities, like the salvation army and muscular dystrophy. We also have helped raise thousands of dollars for the local community hospital, the chamber of commerce, and the rescue squad. Full service also means that when not officially working, all of our staff get involved with some worthwhile efforts in the community and those efforts are mentioned on the air. During our everyday broadcast we offer a community calendar and a swap and shop program free of charge. We even have an in-memorium program for our listeners.
