Zytra Technologies started as a personal blog aiming at sharing ideas for the design of Amateur Astronomy related products such as camera coolers, telescopes, robotic mounts, and other Amateur Telescope Maker parts. After the success of several amateur projects through large demands from the community, Zytra Technologies is ramping up toward production of several products including a German Equatorial mount based on Direct Drive technology, as well as mid-size telescopes and related products/accessories. Currently in prototyping stage, the first products are expected to enter production in 2017. Zytra Technologies also offers a wide range of engineering services (including but not limited to CAD, FEA and testing) of parts (such as Mirror Cells, parts and adapters for Imaging Trains, Mounting Systems) and complete systems.
