CBT is working nationally and internationally on projects that range from urban district master planning to large-scale mixed-use developments, civic and cultural venues, future-ready workplace interiors, and campus planning and design. Based in Boston, we have 230 architects, urban planners, interior designers and other design professionals working together to deliver unique solutions that respond directly to our clients’ needs. BAR’s internal DEI Group’s mission is to dismantle prejudice and racism and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within our firm, our profession and communities we serve through education, advocacy, professional development, and outreach. Our passion for design also extends beyond our specific projects to the broader profession and community. BAR assists in neighborhood revitalization, is active in USGBC and AIA’s Committee on the Environment (COTE). We work with university faculty to teach classes and provide classroom critiques. Fully committed to giving back, we provide pro bono services and/or volunteer for numerous non-profits, including Habitat for Humanity, BuildOn, Haiti Partners and Blue Bear School of Music. Our belief in design quality, and a collaborative and client-centered process, has led to BAR receiving over 190 design awards.
