Hormonal shifts, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, perimenopause, menopause, chronic conditions, stress accumulation, sleep disruption, and recovery variability all change how the body responds to training. Yet most fitness platforms still deliver fixed programming built on research conducted primarily on men. Salerna was built to change that. Salerna is a physiological adaptive training platform designed specifically around women’s hormonal biology and changing physiological states. Unlike traditional fitness apps that assign static plans, or cycle trackers that monitor symptoms without generating exercise programming, Salerna dynamically generates training recommendations that adapt across: • menstrual cycle phases • pregnancy • postpartum recovery • perimenopause • menopause The platform also incorporates condition-aware adaptations for: • PCOS • endometriosis • RED-S • celiac disease • GLP-1 medication use along with personalization layers for injury awareness and equipment availability. Salerna is built on a deterministic, rules-based architecture — not generative AI workout creation. Every recommendation can be traced back to explicit physiological constraints, safety rules, condition modifiers, and recovery logic. That makes the system auditable, clinically defensible, and structured for long-term trust in women’s health applications. A US provisional patent was filed February 14, 2026, with non-provisional and PCT filings planned for Q1 2027. Salerna launched its beta program in August 2026 for the United States market. iOS launch: October 2026.
