ZINNAE Information

ZINNAE, the Cluster for the Efficient Use of Water, is a non-profit association from Aragón founded in 2010. Our purpose is to build Aragón’s water resilience as a lever for competitiveness, security, and sustainability, anticipating the risks of water scarcity, drought, and inefficiency in a changing environment, generating opportunities for the region, its businesses, and its people, and turning Aragón into a benchmark for other regions. Our mission is to strengthen the competitiveness of our members and Aragón’s water resilience, connecting companies, water management entities, public administrations, knowledge centres, and social organizations to turn water security into an economic opportunity, applied innovation, and strategic leadership. ZINNAE was created with the following mission: To promote an efficient and sustainable use of water in Aragón as well as an associated energy consumption in urbanized areas, getting different public and private actors to collaborate, starting from knowledge generation, demonstrative projects and innovative solutions.
