Zest Natural Therapies Information

I've always had a keen interest in nutrition and natural health. Every aspect of our life depends on our health, and if our health suffers then so does our ability to enjoy life to the full. I've been so lucky to be able to get my own health back on track following a diagnosis of severe endometriosis, which was the spark that created the flame that is now my passion - helping people get well again. I love studying and learning, which is why I hold a Bachelor of Health Science (Complementary Medicine) degree from Charles Sturt University, which was an upgrade to my Advanced Diploma in Naturopathy. I also hold Advanced Diplomas in Nutritional Medicine and Western Herbal Medicine, as well as a Diploma of Remedial Massage (although I no longer provide massage therapy services). One of the great things about natural medicine and nutrition in the 21st century is the sheer amount of knowledge that we are gaining on how these areas can impact the human body and mind. Making sure that my patients receive safe, reliable and practical advice for their health is absolutely paramount to me. I make it a priority to regularly attend industry seminars in order to expand my knowledge, so that ultimately, my patients can receive the best care. I have trained in 'Vitae Mosaic' Naturopathic Functional Medicine - a technique that helps me work with people who suffer from complex and/or chronic conditions, which are only becoming more common in our society. I've recently completed training to become a certified Metabolic Balance® coach. And I am a member of the National Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA), and the Australian Register of Naturopaths and Herbalists (ARONAH). who make sure practitioners meet strict education, ethical and practice standards. In my spare time I REALLY enjoy growing veggies in my home garden, cooking, stretching out with a good yoga class, or curling up with a good book (preferably accompanied by a nice glass of wine).
