TerraCycle is Eliminating the Idea of Waste® by developing solutions to recycle the unrecyclable—items that aren’t typically curbside recyclable like cosmetics, candy wrappers, chewing gum, and even cigarette butts.
We work with environmentally-conscious startups and some of the world’s biggest brands to recycle their products into raw material, which is then sold to manufacturing companies. Those manufacturers then use the materials to make new products like outdoor furniture and decking, plastic shipping pallets, tubes for construction applications, playground surface covers, and more. We’ve even recycled ocean plastic into shampoo bottles and toothpaste tubes into playgrounds!
We’re continuously pioneering new and innovative recycling, reuse, and recycled content solutions for your trash. Join us in Eliminating the Idea of Waste® by visiting terracycle.com.

Our Mission: To end waste.
Rubicon Global is laser focused on ending waste in all of its forms. This starts with the physical waste that businesses, governments and organizations produce in their daily operations; but it goes a step further to include wasted time, wasted money, and wasted energy. It starts with keeping materials out of landfills and creating a more circular economy through recycling and reuse; but it expands to include creating a more efficient and effective society.
The Ellen MacArthur Foundation was launched in 2010 to accelerate the transition to a circular economy. Since its creation the charity has emerged as a global thought leader, establishing the circular economy on the agenda of decision makers across business, government and academia. With the support of its Strategic Partners, the Foundation’s work focuses on five interlinking areas:
Learning
Developing the vision, skills and mindsets needed to transition to a circular economy
Business and Government
Catalysing circular innovation and creating the conditions for it to reach scale.
Insight and Analysis
Providing robust evidence about the benefits and implications of the transition
Systemic Initiatives
Taking a global, cross-sectoral approach to material flows, the Foundation is bringing together organisations from across value chains to tackle systemic stalemates that organisations cannot overcome in isolation. Currently running two programmes - New Plastics Economy and Make Fashion Circular.
Communications
Engaging a global audience around the circular economy
