Conventional fracture-casting has served the world for well over a century. Today we have two groups who are particularly at risk of the common wrist fracture. The growing elderly population who wish to engage in a broad range of energetic activities and a group of children and adolescents who undertake a variety of organised sports. Both of these groups are looking for better treatment-technology for wrist-fracture management.
