Founded in 1961 as a general line electrical distributor, Zeller became an early adopter of programmable logic controllers for automated control appli­cations, and began partnering with its customers to develop and implement scalable solutions for their automation controls challenges. Through organic growth and strategic acquisitions, Zeller developed exceptional expertise in motion control, machine vision inspection, process control and power distribution. Kaman acquired Zeller in 2012 to combine its expertise with Minarik’s extensive and complementary proficien­cies, which has led to the development of Kaman’s Automation platform.
