Zeidler BKDI Architects is a design collaborative that represents a shared culture and complementary practice strengths. Zeidler and BKDI Architects have had a joint venture relationship for 15 years in Alberta, resulting in projects such as Calgary City Centre, which is currently under construction. Through the success of this joint venture the partners decided to formalize their relationship with the creation of a new entity—Zeidler BKDI Architects. The partnership comprises Jean Guy Beliveau, Stephen Bugbee, Bill Mitchell and Catherine Richardson, and executive partners Vaidila Banelis and Tarek El-Khatib. This merger recognizes the blend of talents, joint philosophy and experience of a multi-jurisdictional professional practice, and Zeidler BKDI’s leaders and staff bring longstanding partnerships in Calgary, across Canada and internationally. The firm’s work illustrates diversity and innovation through architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, urban design and graphic design.
