Zawadisha Information

Zawadisha’s vision, created in collaboration with the women we work with, is that the financial, emotional, and physical health of women, their families, the community, and the environment will be uplifted through stress-free, fair, and transparent microloans. We work with hundreds of women across Kenya, providing small loans for solar lamps that double as cell phone chargers. Rain water harvesting tanks that free up nearly six hours per day. Clean cook stoves reduce their dependence upon charcoal, a costly and harmful fuel responsible for deforestation and disease. We follow up with leadership and business training to help the women maximize the potential of their loans, test out ideas, cultivate businesses, and develop their leadership skills.
