We build laptops, desktops, and servers optimized for various LInux distributions. Ubuntu, Fedora, and other distros reached a tipping point in 2007, at least that was the year for us. We found that various Linux distributions had become rock-solid, especially when we optimized the hardware. Working with only Linux distributions gave us the ultimate luxury -- we did not have to work around any restrictions that couldn't be fixed by the community. To top it off, we were, and still are, privately held, so there was no need to work around any goal other than building great hardware. We are located near the University of California at Berkeley. Our vision is to have a shop near you someday. We specialize in using only the best quality parts available. Since we keep ultra-thin inventory, usually no more than a day or two, in stock, we are able to upgrade to the latest, greatest parts within a day or two of them being available. What a great specialty!
