ZAPHYRIA is a chaotic fusion of funk, rap, hard rock, and grunge—delivering sharp, unfiltered lyrics with reckless energy and untamed charisma. Their explosive live shows—complete with mosh pits, stage dives, and shirtless mayhem—have earned them a devoted cult following in Amsterdam’s underground scene. Formed in 2023 by Jonathan Ivanov, the band is a perfect storm of talent: bassist Boas Ignacio, vocalist Su-lin Zoutendijk, and drummer Philip de Niet. Their 2024 debut EP, Who Wears The Crown, shook the scene with riot-starters like “Fugazi” and “When I Eat Sushi”, balanced by the seductive mystique of “Rose From Outer Space.” As co-founders of the Young Underground Collective, ZAPHYRIA has already dominated stages like Melkweg and Paradiso Main Hall.
