The Dubrovnik Tourist Board represents the city of Dubrovnik, the towns Rijeka dubrovačka, Zaton, Orašac, Trsteno and Brsečine, as well as the islands of Lokrum, Koločep, Lopud and Šipan. The goal of the Dubrovnik Tourist Board is to encourage, improve and promote the organization of cultural, artistic, economic, sporting and other events that contribute to the enrichment of the tourist attractions of the city. One of the main goals is to encourage and organize action that preserves the tourist area and protects the tourist environment in the city, as well as to assist in the development of tourism in those sites that belong to municipalities or to the city proper but are still not touristically developed. The other goal of the Dubrovnik Tourist Board is to collect and process data on the number of guests in Dubrovnik on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
The National Tourism Organisation of Montenegro is responsible for marketing tourism globally, as well as developing the Montenegro product, both as a brand and destination. The organisation’s tasks include market research; nurturing cooperation with domestic and foreign tourism bodies and the travel industry; as well as planning and carrying out national and global public relations exercises and advertising. The National Tourism Organisation of Montenegro also supports and advises local tourism bodies on the sustainable development of tourism in Montenegro and on raising its visibility. NTO Montenegro sees itself as an ambassador to the country. It aims to inspire both citizens and visitors by promoting the beauty and culture of Montenegro.
