Bistro Boulevard formally know as le Boulevard French restaurant was one of the longest standing restaurant in the area. Opening in 1973 in the Barefoot Boulevard in Avalon by Alain and Caroline Pointeaux. In April 2012 their daughter Nathalie and French husband Patrice took over the restaurant, refurbishing it to look like a French bistro with wooden floorboards, French bi-fold windows and black boards menus. You will enjoy in a relaxing ambiance a French bistro inspired menu with some Alain's classics, like the goat cheese soufflé and the "plat du jour" midweek special. Patrice has carefully selected boutique wines from France and Australia with over 16 wine by the glass. Carafe's are also available in red,white and rose wine. Nathalie and Patrice have been working in the hospitality industry for over 20 years in some of the Northern Beaches finest restaurants. They have recently returned from France after spending three years working in Provence, bringing back with them fresh ideas and a bit of France to the area.
