YTL Construction is the foundation on which the YTL Group, an integrated infrastructure group with a global presence in 33 countries, was built. Originally known as Syarikat Pembenaan Yeoh Tiong Lay (SPYTL), YTL Construction is today a full-spectrum construction group, offering services from concept and design through to building and fit out. Since 1955, YTL has been in the business of nation building. The Express Rail Link that was build between KL City Centre to KLIA with a total journey time of 28 minutes, 112 units of boutique offices at D7 Sentul, high end condominiums at the heart of Sentul East like Fennel & Capers are among the proud projects of YTL Construction. Currently, YTL Construction, is the main local subcontractors that are heading the construction works of the nation’s biggest railway track project which is the Electrified Double Track Gemas-Johor Bahru Rail Project. (EDTPGJB). The EDTPGJB is a project under the Malaysian Ministry of Transport that will complement the current Electrified Train Service (ETS) that runs from Padang Besar in the north of Peninsular Malaysia to Gemas. The EDTP project will begin in Gemas and will cover 4 main districts in Johor which are Segamat, Kluang, Kulai and Johor Bahru, ending at JB Sentral.
