University of Jordan is The oldest Higher education institution and university in Jordan. Ranked first in Jordan and the top 10 in the arab world according to the QS ranking, the university offers more than 250 programs provided by its 19 schools and centers.

Fayoum University (Arabic: جامعة الفيوم, Jame'at al-fayum) is a public university located in the Egyptian city of Al Fayyum in northern Egypt. In 1975, Faculty of Education in Fayoum was established as one of the faculties affiliated to Cairo University. In 1976, Faculty of Agriculture in Fayoum was established and Faculty of Engineering was established in 1981. In 1983, the presidential decree was issued considering Fayoum branch as an independent branch of Cairo University. Now, the university includes 13 faculties; Education, Agriculture, Engineering, social Work, Arabic and Islamic Studies, Sciences, Tourism and Hotels, Specific Education, Archeology, Medicine, Arts, Computer and Information Sciences, Kindergarten as well as the Technical Institute for Nursing. The university also includes 1800 of faculty members and their assistants teaching 25,000 students.

Founded in 1968, SUE is the oldest and largest public comprehensive university in Kurdistan region of Iraq. The University was transferred to the city of Erbil, locally known as Hawler, in 1981 after its establishment in the city of Sulaymania. Initially, the university included seven colleges: Science, Agriculture, Engineering, Administration, Arts, Education, and Medicine. In 1985, the college of Law and Politics was added. Several more were established in the following years so that by 2004, the university offered courses in 12 colleges.
