YPSat | Young Professionals Satellite 🛰️ The Young Professionals Satellite of the European Space Agency is an ESA programme supported by the ESA Education Office, enabling Young Professionals at ESA to initiate, develop and lead a space mission. The first successful mission, YPSat-1, saw the team design and launch a payload that provided valuable images of key phases during the inaugural flight of Ariane 6. Building on this success, YPSat-2 is currently under development to send AIM (Angiology in Microgravity), a scientific experiment aboard ESA’s Space Rider for a two-month space mission. AIM will study how microgravity affects blood flow in the internal jugular vein, with a focus on deep vein thrombosis (DVT).
