Established in the year 2000 the company has grown to become one of the leading facilitators of education programs at over thirty schools in Victoria. Employing over 200 hundred staff members to deliver a curriculum range that involves art, athletics, childhood development and self esteem building, excursions, structured learning and recreation activities. YLV also works closely with the relative government departments who ensure all school programs meet the regulation standards set by the National Quality Framework for Australian educators. Youth Leadership Victoria programs are developed around core values that allow expression of personality and uniqueness. Enhance curiosity and creativity and enable children to make connections between prior experiences and new learning as well as stimulating a sense of well-being and self-esteem. Maintaining our not for profit ethos we financial contribute to the schools where our programs are held and are able to provide services to families in need who would otherwise be unable to have their child attend. Our belief is no child should be left behind. Every child has the right to an education in a safe school environment and this core principle is always our first priority. As Youth Leadership Victoria Inc. continues to grow we have expanded our services to include young adult programs such as anti bullying work shops for teens who are entering their first year of high school. YLV also proudly supports Mayibuye, a youth-led community organisation, which uses performing arts to facilitate opportunities for young adults, who are vulnerable to negative peer pressures and at risk behaviour. We are also excited to be launching a new project in 2014 to provide education in particular areas of Buenos Aires, Argentina to work with providing support and education resources.
