Things around us are shifting. The world as we once built it is in a precarious state of alteration. This presents us with economic, ecological and social problems that cannot be solved at the same level of thought that created them. Pretty much all of our problems can be traced back to an enormous misconception - we think we are separate from others. Whenever we think of ourselves – as a person, as part of a company, or as a company - as radically separate from others and from the world, we automatically put up our guard. We are either in an attack mode, or defensive. Either way, there is little to no room for growing and blossoming together. This is deeply unfortunate, because it is precisely connectedness with others that is needed to create more productive dialogue and action.
