YoungShip Rotterdam Information

YoungShip is a professional non-profit organisation for young people working within the global maritime industry. Founded in Bergen in 2004, the initiative quickly spread to other maritime hubs. Today, the global YoungShip network has more than 5,000 individual members worldwide, and it frequently expands its reach and opens new departments in new countries. The Rotterdam branch was established in November 2014 and has proved to be a suitable platform for young equal-minded maritime professionals and students to come together. A broad mix of international attendees usually find their way to our monthly gatherings and other activities. YoungShip Rotterdam aims to bring together all the corners of the Maritime Industry within Rotterdam and the surrounding areas to promote the people, companies, and opportunities that shape the Dutch shipping community.
