Young Creative Awards Nottingham Information

The Young Creative Awards is fast becoming the most exciting and inspiring event on Nottingham’s creative calendar. It is an annual creative competition open to all 13-24 year olds, working, living or studying in Nottingham. Our vision for the Awards is to develop and support young creative talent in the city, put young people in Nottingham on the creative map and make Nottingham a world-class creative hub. We’re passionate about the creativity of young people and want to encourage and nurture their talent, helping them to find opportunities, get noticed and open doors to successful careers. Awards are offered across a wide variety of creative categories and supported by a committed group of creative businesses and organisations in Nottingham. By entering the awards you could win a cash prize and a host of other opportunities, such as mentoring from experts in your creative area, work experience, industry recognition and publicity, and the chance to exhibit around the city. Each year the Young Creative Awards has a different theme. Entrants are encouraged to be as creative, unique, experimental and expressive as you like within the categories of your choice, based around the theme. Entries are judged by experts including writers, designers, film makers and more, and the winners are announced at a fantastic awards night.
