Back in the 15th century, Mongolia, a land of blue sky and clouds, emerged a family that was soon to become an agricultural legend of its time. This family name was Yoon. As Yoon was a royal family, it allowed them to own acres of vast land with native grasses, vegetation, and livestock, including goats; the most prominent animal of Mongolia. A remarkable animal, the goat could withstand the coldest of winters, which made their hair feel soft like silk and featherweight. From this mystifying fiber, the Yoon family became famous for producing the finest quality raw cashmere in the world. Today, the Yoon legend continues on in our own vertical manufacturing facility. From this high quality cashmere, Yoon used its successful roots to create a contemporary sweater collection. The inspiration from their Asian heritage was interwoven into the brand image of New York fashion meets Los Angles state of mind. Yoon started out with a small collection of rich soft cashmere-blend sweaters designed for fashion forward women who appreciate comfortable yet luxurious style.
