Yocal is a platform for business owners to tell their compelling stories - their “WHY” - and what makes their product/service unique as well as a place for local-minded consumers to share the “WHY” behind the reasons they love local. It also allows consumers to highlight the ACTION they are taking and encourage others to do the same. Bob Johnson and Dave Loveland created the Keep Local Alive movement as a way to educate consumers on the importance of choosing locally-owned options. ~THIS ISN’T AN INITIATIVE OF NICE WORDS BUT OF ACTION~ Keep Local Alive is a movement designed to cut through all the lip service and the cliched slogans of “support local” and actually educate consumers about the very real impact supporting locally-owned establishments can have on the communities they serve.
