YLD Information

Founded in 2013, YLD is a technology consultancy headquartered in London, with offices in Lisbon and Porto. The practice supports clients across the UK, Europe, and the US, working with technology leaders across a diverse range of sectors. These include heavily regulated industries such as fintech, health, energy, and media, where compliance, data governance, and audit requirements shape every technical decision. YLD brings together AI-augmented software engineering, product design, data engineering and infrastructure solutions under a single offering, built around a fluid, embedded team model where composition is shaped by the client brief, not a fixed org chart. YLD was an early adopter of technologies including Node.js, React, React Native, Kubernetes, and GraphQL, now staples for many businesses. It was just as early to Design Systems as a service, and founded Design Systems London, a non-profit community for design, engineering and product practitioners. That same innovative instinct now applies to AI. YLD collaborates with clients on the architecture, data, and processes that decide whether AI holds up in production, closing the gap between strategy and execution that persistently challenges technology and product leaders. Curious by default, cross-team specialists across engineering, product, and design work as one team, moving at pace with new tools and techniques, without losing sight of what matters to the client.
