YILFERT Holding is an industry pioneer in formulating and preparing fertilizer products for the agricultural sector, households, and various commercial and industrial users. In 2004, YILDIRIM Group made its first move in the fertilizer and chemical industry by acquiring Gemlik Gubre, formerly a government enterprise based in Bursa, Türkiye. Since then, YILFERT has made significant strides in the fertilizer and chemical industry, becoming the largest producer of CAN fertilizer and ammonia in Türkiye and the 3rd-largest trader of fertilizers and chemicals in the country. YILFERT expanded overseas in 2022 with the acquisition of Rosier SA, a fertilizers production company established in Belgium and the Netherlands, and Petrokemija, the largest fertilizer production plant in Croatia. With over 1,000 vendors and nearly 3,000 agriculture sales cooperatives, YILFERT holds a significant share of the Turkish fertilizer market. The company’s mission is to meet all fertilizer needs of its clients, whether through production or importation. To facilitate this, YILFERT boasts a warehouse capacity of 1 million metric tons at strategic locations across Türkiye. Each year, the company produces nearly 600,000 metric tons of fertilizer in its plant located in Türkiye and imports up to 1 million metric tons to reach its objectives. After the construction of the Gemlik Gubre New Urea Plant is completed, YILFERT aspires to secure a spot among the top 5 companies in the fertilizer industry in Europe.
