WHO IS YFU? YFU STANDS FOR "YOUTH FOR UNDERSTANDING» We believe that the international youth exchange can make a concrete contribution to greater tolerance and understanding between different cultures. YFU IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION YFU is one of the largest non-profit exchange organizations worldwide. Our goal is not to make money, but to enable as many young people as possible, a unique opportunity for a youth exchange. We make a profit, we invest it in new scholarships. MAKE THE WORLD YOUR HOME YFU promotes intercultural understanding, mutual respect and social responsibility through education-oriented youth exchange, families, schools, and their common world. YFU organizations worldwide are working with the same high quality standards and the common values and goals of all YFU organizations are recorded in our mission statement.
