Yeshivat Akiva/Akiva Hebrew Day School Information

Akiva offers the opportunity to purchase a memorial to commemorate your loved ones while helping to support our school. Memorials will be displayed on our interactive APIOH (A Place In Our Hearts) display is located in the main lobby. In addition, a virtual candle will automatically light on the system for the week prior to and following the Yahrzeit of the deceased. We will also send out a notification of the Yahrzeit prior to the Yahrzeit date, so you will be aware of when Kaddish needs to be recited. Because the APIOH Memorials board is interactive, you can include biographies, histories and photos of your loved one. Just touch the plaque to view the additional content. All proceeds go to Akiva.
