Yellow Creek Mennonite Church Information

Our church was founded in 1845 when a few families settled west of Goshen, Indiana. Yellow Creek Mennonite Church is the 2nd oldest Mennonite congregation in the state and has played an historic role in this community. Yellow Creek Mennonite has planted a number of other congregations nearby. There were two church splits over a hundred years ago, which resulted in the Wisler Mennonites and The Missionary Church both of which have grown and are operating well to this day. Yellow Creek has sustained a decades-long emphasis on supporting children and youth ministry. Through recent restructuring initiatives and strategic planning the Yellow Creek has moved to a staff-led approach to ministries and the Leadership Board is focused more on vision development. We are also exploring further partnerships with the Anabaptist churches around the world. While we celebrate our 175th Anniversary this year we are more excited about where God is leading us to make a difference for Christ.
