YAC - Young Architects Competitions Information

A decade-long experience has led YAC to be one of the most long-established and active organizers of architectural and design competitions in the world. YAC’s competitions address young architects and designers, recent graduates and students and aims to encourage design-related research by regularly providing tangible architectural or urban planning projects to inspire stakeholders and generate solutions to support and provide physical places for increasingly volatile and dynamic human activities. To endorse young designers’ creativity and talent YAC has already awarded +1 MLN € young architects from more than 140 countries. According to YAC, architecture is the discipline that creates and shapes the places of human action, and the projects it wishes to award are highly contemporary projects that enable temporariness and customization of the use of the architectural space.
