XVI Pacific Games Information

In 2019, Samoa hosted the largest Pacific Games in history. Organised in a record amount of 17 months, the event picked up the name "the Miracle Games". It set new standards for large-scale events in the Pacific such as being the first Games to go "plastic-free" and had the widest broadcast coverage in Games history. The experience demonstrated Samoa's ability to successfully organise and host large regional events and showcased its innate ability to collaborate with a range of partners and stakeholders.
