Our story began in 1974, when we started manufacturing custom physical barrier systems direct to the end customer. Over the last 4 and half decades, as local and global economies changed, we have seen crime, and criminal modus operandi evolve. Xpanda has continued to be at the forefront of research and development in the physical barrier market since we opened for business. We have added multiple product lines within our physical barrier range, including Roller Shutter Doors, Fire Doors, Sectional Overhead Doors and a DIY range that is available at most South African hardware stores. The Xpanda DIY range remain an integral part of the business and we has the enviable position of being the market leader of such products within the retail environment. However, our core focus remains on custom security products for home, commercial and Industrial use. All Xpanda customers are services through our 3 main offices in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town, and through our extensive national network of Xpanda accredited installers and distributors. With our extensive product range and wide reaching distribution, Xpanda is one of the most comprehensive manufacturers of barrier security products in South Africa. Today, Xpanda is privileged to serve thousands of customers annually, manufacturing a wide range of security products to fit the most basic of security needs to complex custom requirements.
