XLR8UH is a nationally recognized business accelerator program listed in Forbes as one of the top 30 accelerator programs in the nation (http://bit.ly/2fDUhhI). Our program provides entrepreneurs with the necessary resources and guidance to help them bring their idea or technology to market. XLR8UH’s goal is to create economic prosperity through the science, technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship formed at the University of Hawaii, converting our state’s regional strength of groundbreaking research into new businesses and jobs. XLR8UH provides: - Mentorship from an experienced team - Access to hundreds of industry experts and investors - Investor led bootcamps + pitch practices - Financial modeling for your business - Intellectual Property strategy guidance - Corporate governance guidance - Up to $175,000 in funding - And much, much more! The program, a public-private partnership between the University of Hawaii and Sultan Ventures, conducts on average two sessions each calendar year. Our 15-week program is taught in three phases: Lean, Build, Pitch™, designed to instill the best entrepreneurial practices into our founders and set them up for success. The program offers weekly workshops, presentations, lectures, and office hours with industry experts and leaders. Each session culminates in a formal, highly competitive showcase day where teams will present to a panel of investors, partners, and executives.
