Ximco went to a co-operative arrangement with a government company under the city of Shanghai in November 1996. And this corporate structure allows Ximco to do risk management intermediary and consulting business. In these years, Ximco is dedicated to provide clients with cost effective and comprehensive risk management solutions. Early in 2003, a strategic alliance was formed with CCIB, one of the top three nationally licensed insurance brokers in China, to expand the network of service offices to twenty-five (25) cities around the country. In 2005, owners of Ximco established another wholly-owned subsidiary in Mainland China with a nationwide licence, Shanghai Ximco Insurance Brokers Limited. Ximco now has the capability to service clients in most major cities and their vicinity in respect of property and casualty insurance as well as employee benefits consulting.
