The micro-organosphere (MOS) technology developed at Xilis is now commercially available from Uniform Bio as MOSgen, a benchtop instrument that lets a lab make MOS from its own samples. MOSgen uses microfluidics to turn one patient sample into 280,000 identical living 3D human models in fifteen minutes, for use in the plates, workflows, and instrumentation a lab already owns. It gives drug developers human biology at screening scale, so candidates can be de-risked early in discovery instead of in the clinic.
