WebChartMD is used by thousands of physicians nationwide for the purpose of documenting patient encounters. Physicians dictate their patient encounters by phone or recorder, and the WebChartMD software captures the dictated audio file and routes it to a designated transcription vendor. Once transcribed, the completed patient note is sent to the physician’s web-based account at WebChartMD, where the document is reviewed and processed by physicians and other healthcare staff. Documents are also interfaced with EMR or EHR products at hospitals.
