The Wnt pathway drives cancer growth and drug resistance across all major tumors, yet no Wnt drug has been approved as of today. Pharma giants including Novartis spent 30+ years trying. Every program failed because broad Wnt inhibition causes severe toxicity, making drugs too toxic to dose effectively. Wynveris develops first-in-class receptor-selective Wnt inhibitors. Unlike prior broad approaches, our compounds inhibit only the receptor a tumor depends on. Healthy tissue can rely on other receptors. This selectivity has the potential to hit the tumor hard without the prohibitive toxicity of previously failed treatments enabling both mono- and combination therapy validated in vivo already.
