WSF Group was founded in 1990 and developed then the largely unexploited area in Wienerberg in the 10th district of Vienna. With this investment WSF Group significantly contributed to the area as being one of the most attractive residential and business areas in Vienna, even though it was formerly used as a waste disposal site amongst other things. Since the mid-90s WSF Group has become an international company with an increase in projects from abroad. In recent years WSF Group and their partners have made counter-cyclical investments in new projects. Currently luxury hotels in Barcelona, Budapest, Bucharest, Prague and Vienna are being implemented with further pipeline projects existing in Moscow and in St.Petersburg.
