Wray Music House Inc Information

Wray Music House (WMH) is celebrating our 50th year in business. It all started back in 1955 when William A. Wray, Sr. opened his own store after consistently being top salesman month after month for another store in town. He achieved this success by selling upright pianos "door to door" mainly to farmers and rural households in the Harrisburg, Pa. area. In the 1960's he expanded into a full-line store by offering guitars and amps, and in 1974 the business incorporated. Also at that time Do Wray Mi Pianos, a division of WMH, was formed to service the expanding acoustic and electric piano sales in the area. Mr. Wray passed away in 1984. In 1992, Wray Music House relocated a few doors down the street while Do Wray Mi Pianos remained at the original location. In January of 2003, ownership of Do Wray Mi Pianos started doing business under Wray Music House again. Do Wray Mi Pianos is currently a division of Wray Music House and both stores and locations have combined as of July of 2004. We are currently doing business at 331 Market Street in Lemoyne. Today, Wray's Music House is still family owned and operated. Moving into the third generation, F.J. DeStefano (Grandson of Bill Wray, Sr.)is the owner of both Wray's Music and Do Wray Mi Pianos. All of the day to day business is handled by F.J. DeStefano and Jennifer DeStefano. Our Floor Managers are Jason Drayer and Johnathan Shuey. We have 7 employees specializing in their perspective fields of expertise. Wray's Music is a full-line music store stocking everything except band instruments. Almost every brand name of musical gear is represented. A few of our lines are Gibson, PRS, Ovation, and other popular American Brands, Takamine, Roland, Mackie, Crest, Ashly, Alesis, Tascam, Shure, Sabian, and Yamaha. We take pride in offering professional and courteous service to all musicians of any level. We also have the best prices in town.
