WPL is a Virginia Beach-based design firm providing landscape architecture, land surveying, and civil engineering services throughout Coastal Virginia. Since 1960, our team has helped public and private clients plan, design, and build places that are thoughtful, functional, resilient, and grounded in the character of their communities. Our multidisciplinary structure is a core strength. Landscape architects, land surveyors, and civil engineering professionals work closely together, allowing ideas to be tested against real site conditions, infrastructure needs, regulatory requirements, and constructability from the beginning. That internal collaboration helps us deliver solutions that are creative, technically informed, and practical to implement. Over more than six decades, WPL has contributed to civic spaces, parks, educational campuses, waterfronts, streetscapes, residential communities, commercial developments, resort environments, and other projects that shape life across the Coastal Virginia region. Our work is guided by a long-term view of design, with an emphasis on stewardship, connectivity, accessibility, community identity, and lasting value.
