The company started as a small operation making Terrazzo tiles and soon graduated to making pavers. It was a pioneer to introduce interlocking pavers in the Indian market and remained the market leader till 2000. In 2000 it ventured into mosaics. The first unit for ceramic mosaics was set up in Bandung (Indonesia) and then a stone mosaic unit was set up in India. In 2002 we set up a Terracotta mosaic unit in Khurja (the pottery hub of India). Within the next year, two more units were set up for making mosaics in glass, resin (agglomerates) and Metal Bonded. By 2010 World of Mosaic was the leading mosaic manufacturer of India, with the widest variety of mosaics and exporting to six countries.
