WorldBeing (formerly CorStone) is a leader in developing, evaluating and scaling evidence-based mental health and wellbeing programs for vulnerable youth in low- and middle-income countries. With a mission rooted in the belief that inner wellbeing is foundational to global change, WorldBeing is helping youth build the critical skills necessary to positively transform their life trajectories and forge a path forward for themselves, their communities and the world. Our evidence-based approach, backed by 15 years of research, focuses on the 'inner' development that fosters mental health and wellbeing – working 'from the inside out' to build the agency and resilience that is key to unlocking the aspirations of youth. Since 2011, WorldBeing has trained over 4,200,000 youth and 300,000 schoolteachers in the skills of mental health and wellbeing across India, Kenya and Rwanda. Results from WorldBeing’s research trials have been well-documented, with scientific papers published in multiple prestigious peer-reviewed journals. Outcomes include significant improvements in emotional resilience, agency, health knowledge, gender attitudes, reproductive and sexual health, and clean water behaviors, as well as impacts on early marriage prevention, school engagement, academic success, classroom behaviors, and positive school transformation amongst teachers and administrators. In 2025 WorldBeing announced the launch of InLight India, a groundbreaking five-year systems change initiative designed to make mental health and wellbeing a guaranteed component of youth education across India. Built in deep partnership with state and national education systems, the program works to integrate wellbeing into education policy, teacher training institutions, curriculum, and evaluation. InLight India is poised to directly impact more than 30 million students across 5 states by 2030.
