USRowing is a nonprofit membership organization recognized by the United States Olympic Committee as the national governing body for the sport of rowing in the United States. USRowing selects, trains and manages the teams that represent the U.S. in international competition including the world championships, Pan American Games and Olympics. More than 77,00 individuals and 1,400 organizations strong, USRowing serves and promotes the sport on all levels of competition. USRowing membership reflects the spectrum of American rowers – juniors, collegians, masters and those who row for recreation, competition or fitness.
British Rowing, as the governing body for the sport, is responsible for the development of rowing in England and the training and selection of rowers to represent Great Britain.
Rowing has a proud history as one of GB’s most successful Olympic sports producing World, Olympic and Paralympic Champions from across the UK. The squad is supported by the National Lottery Sports Fund.
Rowing Australia is the peak governing body for competitive rowing in Australia, administering the sport from grass roots through to high performance and is an official member of World Rowing. Rowing Australia is the home of the Australian Rowing Team.
