In 1974, National Cement became part of the Vicat Group of France, a global leader in cement manufacturing with a long-standing commitment to innovation, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence.
Today, the Ragland plant supplies a diverse customer base across Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Florida. Cement is shipped via truck and rail from Ragland and through a growing network of distribution terminals located in Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina.
