About Us: WorkReadyGrad is a college and career readiness network connecting students, employers and alumni. Mentors share their career paths and success stories to help students navigate their educational experience. Employers recruit new hires with specific skill sets and referenceable endorsements. Currently focused on creating a pipeline that places students in advanced manufacturing positions from technical colleges and career academies in the SouthEast US region. History: WorkReadyGrad was originally built by students at Georgia Tech and Morehouse as a computer science senior design capstone project, under Dr. Bob Waters in 2012. Later that year, WRG received $25,000 from the Technical College System of Georgia, and went from a class project to a startup. The beta version of WorkReadyGrad was piloted with 200+ students/alumni and 30+ employers including Home Depot, Coca-Cola, GE Healthcare, J&J, P&G, and Lockheed Martin.
