To provide services that directly or indirectly improves the economic condition of the region. In accomplishing this mission WorkOne will seek to plan, manage, provide and oversee the provision of workforce, economic development, and business service activities, that retain and increase the jobs and per capita income of the region and as a result, improve the quality of the workforce, reduce welfare dependency, and enhance the productivity and competitiveness of the region. To accomplish this mission and purpose the Corporation may elect to provide services to private industry and other customers. WorkOne will also support this mission by assisting private customers as a service for fee provider. Servicing WorkOne customers and employers in Blackford, Delaware, Fayette, Henry, Jay, Randolph, Rush, Union, and Wayne Counties.
