Intersection Analyzer is Worknet’s new solution for gathering intersection vehicle turning movement and traffic counts. It is not a service nor does it require any manual counting. Intersection Analyzer is a server-based application which can reside at a client’s office, and provide accurate, quantitative intersection traffic vehicle counts and turning movements by way of video via live streaming permanently affixed cameras, or recorded video which is gathered by temporary cameras mounted in a correct position. Benefits/Features: • Eliminates the need to send video to a third party using a service model and paying per hour of video analysis • Eliminates the need for manual counting activities, costs, and devices lowering operational and capital costs • Makes it easier to complete simultaneous intersection counts as Intersection Analyzer can view/analyze and provide data to many intersection videos simultaneously • Provides ongoing upgrades/updates to software as enhancements are requested by end users • Provides easy-to-use interface with minimal (one day or less) of training required • Includes simple interface for installing and configuring software • Includes reporting module providing view of real-time accumulation of counts if desired • Includes query module allowing users to customize the data reported based on input parameters • Accommodates many video camera devices as long as quality standards are met. (Example: must be over 25 frames per second). Intersection Analyzer can be accompanied by a complete mobile video camera solution if needed. The mobile solution includes the camera, power, video recording storage, and mounts. Intersection Analyzer is being developed and marketed in conjunction with Worknet Analytics.
